My name is Jennifer Den Dekker and my journey into dog grooming began long before I ever picked up a pair of shears. I knew at just 12 years old that I wanted to work with dogs. For nearly a decade, I dedicated myself to basic dog obedience training, building a strong foundation in canine behavior and handling. In August 2017, I stepped into the grooming world as a bather at a local salon, where my passion quickly evolved into a career path.

In February 2018, I enrolled at Nash Academy of Animal Arts in Lexington, Kentucky, and graduated in April 2018 as a professional dog groomer. Since then, I have been proud to turn my lifelong love for dogs into the work I get to do every day. 

Shortly after graduating, I entered my first grooming competition at PetQuest in June 2018, earning 3rd place. That experience fueled my drive to continuously improve my craft. I went on to earn 2nd place at All American Grooming Show in Schaumburg, Illinois, and 1st place at RwGroomX in Owensboro, Kentucky.

I am a National Certified Groomer through the National Dog Groomers Association of America and am currently working toward my National Master Groomer Certification. I also hold multiple professional certifications, including AKC Safe Salon, Pet CPR, Advanced Professional Groomer, and Certified Doodle Groomer. My commitment to continued education ensures that every dog in my care receives safe, skilled, and professional grooming.
